As part of first lady Michelle
Obama's "Let's Move" initiative, she is hosting children from across
the nation at the White House for a kids' "State Dinner." The dinner
is actually a luncheon, and 54 children who submitted winning healthy lunch
recipes are attending with their parents. "Following the luncheon, the
kids will be treated to a performance by Big Time Rush, and will have the
opportunity to visit the White House Kitchen Garden," the White
House said in an announcement Wednesday. The winners -- one child from each
state, the three territories and the District of Columbia --submitted
recipes for
everything from fish tacos to "Bunny Bisque and Secret Service Super
Salad." More from Politico’s 44.
