President Obama is using a brand new font for the 2012 campaign.
A BuzzFeed reader points out that President Obama's new typeface is Revolution Gothic, a style inspired by retro Cuban propaganda posters. They note, "The original font is inspired by retro propaganda posters and wall paintings in Cuba from the 60s to 80s." So BuzzFeed asks, "Who vets the fonts? Obama press secretary Ben LaBolt emailed this response: "Your GOP operative should have had the courtesy to stay sober before noon, and BuzzFeed should go back to labeling cat slideshows." Burn.
