As
you know, a few Senators made cameos on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation”
when the show recently filmed in D.C. Patrick Gavin asks, “But behind
every politician is a great staffer, right? Avital Barnea, a
Presidential Management Fellow with the U.S. Senate Committee on
Finance, will also be featured on the program — the only Capitol Hill
staffer to do so, she claimed. Barnea said that she responded
to the “Parks and Recreation” casting call after reading about it on
POLITICO. ”I initially cast it off, but upon
casually mentioning the opportunity to a colleague, was encouraged to
apply,” she said via email. “So, I emailed my photo and biographical
information to the casting company.” Check it out
