English crooner Sir Elton John
sported a colorful ensemble — including a lovely lavender-hued shirt,
pink plaid tie, and rose-colored glasses — during a Tuesday visit to
Capitol Hill. He has been in town speaking at the International
AIDS Conference. He also attended a breakfast Tuesday
with Sen. Patrick Leahy
(D-VT) sponsored by UNAIDS and the Elton John Foundation. Legendary
musician Sir Elton John is visiting Washington to raise
awareness about AIDS. He was a keynote speaker at the International AIDS
Awareness Conference on Monday, and, that night, appeared at an event
with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and others. The Human Rights
Campaign, the Global Equity Fund and the Elton
