Some
characters from one of President Obama’s favorite shows are raising
some campaign cash on his behalf. Politico reports, “The cast of “The
Wire” is getting into the political game for President Obama. A few
actors from the HBO show will attend a reception benefiting Obama’s
reelection campaign on Aug 15 on Martha’s Vineyard,
according to an
invitation posted online.”
Tickets cost $500 per guest or $2,500 for host committee members. The
event will be held at the Oak Bluffs home of Judy and Ron Davenport.
According to the Sunlight Foundation, the President will not be
