Vice president Joe Biden, was in Wisconsin on Saturday, campaigning for Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold. During his visit, he made a quick pit stop at Kopp’s Frozen Custard. I don’t think the Vice President’s staffers planned on any controversy coming out of a photo-op at a Custard shop, but they were wrong. An employee offered the Veep free custard in exchange for lower taxes and the Vice President didn't seem to like the joke very much. The manager said later in an interview with WISN that he thought Mr Biden didn't seem happy initially about the taxes comment, but that the Vice President later whispered that he was just kidding.
