Courtney Love was in Washington over the weekend and on Sunday night she played at DC’s 9:30 Club. Yeas and Nays is blogging that Love was late and a mess for her performance—which is nothing new--but she blamed her tardiness on a member of Congress. They write, “An hour after Love was supposed to show up, the 45-year-old songstress pranced onstage and explained that she was late because she was with a "senator friend" before beginning a bizarre three-hour-long show.” The Yeas and Nays girls took Love’s word that she was actually hanging out with a Senator and reached out to Sens. Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, and Sen. Al Franken—none of which turned out to be said Senator.
