Earlier this week I mentioned which celebrities were donating cash to their politician of choice. Well, there was one Senator who didn’t have Hollywood cash rolling in—instead he only had one single donor. Talking Points Memo’s is blogging about the only person to contribute to Sen. John Ensign's re-election campaign—a Las Vegas retiree who thinks Sen. Ensign is a good guy overall. "He did some bad things with his personal life. But as a senator, he's doing the right thing. He votes the right way." Said Robert Donald. He added, "besides, all men are dogs, the way I look at it." Last quarter the Senator’s campaign raked in a total of 50 bucks-- two $25 contributions from Mr. Donald between the months of January and March 2010.Granted, the Senator's not up for reelection until 2012, but still...that's harsh.
