The next time the President visits China, he won’t have to look too hard for a place to let loose. Shanghai is ready to party on April 26th when the Obama Entertainment nightclub opens. CNN Go’s blogging that the new “nightlife venture is probably the biggest club in the city.” Vanity Fair’s saying, “Some enterprising gentlemen’s-club proprietors in Shanghai have opened a new venue, the theme of which is America’s 44th president, Barack Obama.” Bloggers at SmartShanghai.com decided they would call the US Consulate to ask if the President had any involvement in the opening of the club. A spokeman from the office said: “I would seriously doubt it. I don't have a comment. I'm not familiar with the club.” Honestly, I'm surprised they got that much out of a US Consulate official.
