Goodbye "Young Barry"
Remember that statue of President Obama that was put up in Indonesia to honor their countryman? After a number of people complained about the statue of “Young Barry,” the authorities in Indonesia decided to take it down. The statues was taken down from Menteng park and moved to a nearby elementary school where President Obama attended school. The statue of a 10 year old Obama had been targeted by critics since it was erected in Decmeber. Ben Smith notes that the "President is still very popular in Indonesia, but too foreign to merit a statue."
